Artist Statement
a love of color, texture, and the visual richness of life have provided my drive to explore abstract art. I am very much influenced by nature and the interconnected systems within the natural world.
pulling from memory and imagination, I explore these connections to create my own language of organization within the work. using form, color and a variety of materials takes me beyond representation into my own visual interpretation.
it is a creative path that, for me, is authentic and fulfilling.
